2018 Annual Report

West Africa and especially Togo are in the fabric of our lives – in what we think, say, pray about, and do. Thank you for being an important part of our ministry there, which means that you are an active contributor to the results shared here. We thank God for what He has done and what He is still doing. God bless you and may you be encouraged by the following BTN Annual Report.

 Highlights

2018 can be summarized as a year of building infrastructure and consistent spiritual growth in the lives of people we work with and minister to.

  1. The growth of the Adeho Christ is the Same Church from 40 to 80.
    1. More people were baptized.
    2. We celebrated their third anniversary with them.
    3. Seeing the church reach out and draw in people from surrounding villages – making it a center for missions in this primarily voodoo area.
  2. Organized a volunteer team to promote HistoAfrique radio program and events.
  3. We distributed 8 Proclaimers (audio Bibles) in Ewe for use in discipleship and evangelism in villages where we showed the JESUS film previously. We sent 10 Proclaimers to northeastern Nigeria to be used in 9 church plants and 1 school. They will be delivered to the villages Nov. 7-11th. This is in partnership with a Nigerian Pastor.
  4. At least 30 people accepted Christ at Boniface’s uncle’s funeral in Adeho as a result of the presence of the church in that village and two nights of JESUS film showings.
  5. We received all the funding to build a permanent roof and shelter for the Adeho Church. Now we can start building the church.
  6. We were able to start to financially supporting indigenous pastors. Everything we give them, no matter how small, shows them that they are not alone and gives hope.
  7. We completely paid for the land for the BTN Training Center, and God has provided enough funding to build the security wall around the perimeter.
